The method of chainsaw sharpening

Saw users feel the need of grinders, when they find their saws blunt and slow. It is a cutting chain that makes a saw useful. It is a cutting chain that cuts smoothly. If the chain isn’t maintained then it won’t cut. It would produce sawdust instead of wooden pieces. And it would need to be forced into the wood.

A cutting chain needs cleaning every time it is used. When a cutting link makes a cut mark on the wood, it comes into contact with moisture from the wood and dust. Moisture and dust makes a very thin film on the link and it not removed can make the link blunt. Another problem with links is they can get bent on coming into contact with tough logs. These links can be grinded and made razor sharp again. And one won’t take more than an hour for chainsaw sharpening.

Chainsaw sharpening tool involves cleaning the chain and grinding the cutting links. It starts with checking each link with hands and determining its cutting strength by touching its edge. One needs a grinder to file the links. One can buy a round file that is a manual file or an electric grinder that is an automatic file.
